The complete, prompt and safe withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Iraq

Civil liberties, equal rights and justice for all

Single payer universal healthcare

Jobs for American workers that provide, at minimum, a living wage

Affordable, quality education for all

Strong environmental protection, renewable energy and ending dependence on oil

Protection of the election process to ensure fair elections and campaign finance reform

Dear Friends,

I would like to thank you for supporting our campaign. I would especially
like to thank my incredible staff that put in countless time and energy
without which the campaign would not have been possible. A special thank
you goes to my Campaign Manager, Tamyra D'Ippolito. She did an
outstanding job given our limited resources to bring us in second place on
election night. I would also like to thank all those who generously
contributed to my candidacy. We could not have accomplished all that we
did without you. Thank you!

Throughout the campaign we carried your message about the need to end war
in Iraq and to reinvest in America. We spoke about our health care crisis
and the need for single payer universal health care. We spoke about our
energy crisis and the need to use clean renewable sources of energy that
do not harm our environment. We spoke out about reforming the Leave no
Child Behind Act that leaves so many children behind.

It was an honor and a pleasure to work with you. I hope to stay in touch
you over the next few months. It is important for all of us to keep up the
good work. Tamyra said it best when she recently said: "the progressive
movement moves on!"
